1. Terms and Conditions 1.1 About Classroom Writer Classroom Writer is an online platform for teachers and schools. It allows users to create digital worksheets, import or build learning content, share worksheet links with students, collect student responses, and export completed work. Classroom Writer may include tools such as text boxes, answer boxes, images, equations, diagrams, canvas tools, simulations, matching tasks, multiple choice questions, true/false questions, missing-word activities, PDF export, training materials, account management, subscription billing, and admin tools. By creating an account, using Classroom Writer, or accessing a worksheet through Classroom Writer, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 Who may use Classroom Writer Classroom Writer is intended for: • teachers; • schools; • school administrators; • students who access a worksheet through a teacher or school link; • authorised support or admin users. Students should only use Classroom Writer when they have been given access by a teacher, school, parent/guardian, or another authorised adult.

1.3 Account responsibilities Users are responsible for keeping their login details safe. You must not share your password or allow someone else to use your account. Teachers and school administrators are responsible for checking that any student access links are shared only with the intended students or groups. If you believe your account, password, worksheet link, or access token has been misused, you should contact us as soon as possible at info@classroomwriter.com.

1.4 Teacher and school responsibilities Teachers and schools are responsible for: • making sure Classroom Writer is suitable for their teaching context; • deciding what content they upload, create, share, or ask students to complete; • checking that uploaded content does not breach copyright or licensing rules; • checking that student data is processed lawfully; • obtaining any required parent, guardian, student, school, or authority consent; • informing students and parents where required; • managing access to worksheet links and tokens; • reviewing exported files before using them for assessment or reporting; • complying with school policies, local laws, safeguarding requirements, and data protection rules. Classroom Writer provides the technical platform, but teachers and schools remain responsible for how they use it in their educational setting.

1.5 Student access Students may access worksheets through shared links, tokens, or teacher-provided access methods. Student access may allow students to: • type answers; • select answers; • upload or create content; • annotate diagrams or canvases; • complete matching, multiple choice, true/false, missing-word or other activities; • export or download completed work where this feature is enabled. Teachers and schools are responsible for deciding whether a worksheet is appropriate for a student and whether student access should be restricted, timed, or closed.

1.6 Worksheet links and tokens Classroom Writer may use shared links or tokens to allow students to access a worksheet. Teachers and schools must treat these links as sensitive. Anyone with access to a link may be able to open the worksheet unless additional restrictions are applied. Classroom Writer may allow links or tokens to expire, be disabled, or be deleted. Teachers should check link settings before sharing worksheets with students.

1.7 Subscriptions and billing Classroom Writer may offer teacher plans, school plans, trials, free access periods, or paid subscriptions. Subscription billing may be handled through a third-party payment provider. Classroom Writer does not need to store full payment card details if these are handled directly by the payment provider. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees shown at checkout or in your school agreement. Prices, features, plan limits, billing periods, and trial terms may change. Where required, we will give notice of material changes.

1.8 Cancellations Users may cancel their subscription according to the cancellation options available in their account or by contacting support at info@classroomwriter.com. Cancellation usually stops future billing. It does not create an automatic refund for previous payments or unused time unless required by law or agreed in writing. After cancellation, access to paid features may end immediately or at the end of the current billing period, depending on the plan.

1.9 Refunds Refunds are not guaranteed unless required by law or agreed in writing. Classroom Writer may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis, especially where there has been a clear billing error, duplicate payment, or technical issue that prevented meaningful use of the service. School and institutional contracts may have separate refund and cancellation terms.

1.10 Trials and access periods Classroom Writer may offer trial access, pilot access, promotional access, or temporary access for training purposes. Trial access may be limited, changed, extended, or withdrawn. Trial users are still responsible for using the platform lawfully and appropriately.

1.11 Uploaded and created content Teachers and schools keep ownership of the content they upload or create, subject to any rights they already have or do not have. By uploading or creating content in Classroom Writer, you give Classroom Writer permission to host, process, display, convert, export, and store that content only as needed to provide the service. You must not upload content unless you have the right to use it. This includes, but is not limited to: • worksheets; • exam-style questions; • copyrighted textbook material; • images; • PDFs; • Word-style content; • simulations; • copied online resources; • third-party teaching materials. Classroom Writer does not claim ownership of teacher-created worksheets or student responses.

1.12 Copyright and third-party resources Teachers and schools are responsible for ensuring that any third-party content used in Classroom Writer is used legally. If a teacher adds a link to an external resource, Classroom Writer is not responsible for the content, availability, licence, accuracy, safety, or data practices of that external resource. Where Classroom Writer allows external links, simulations, embedded items, or resource references, teachers and schools must check whether these are permitted under the provider’s licence and their school’s policies.

1.13 Intellectual property of Classroom Writer The Classroom Writer platform, design, software, code, interface, tools, branding, workflows, training materials, documentation, and other platform materials belong to Classroom Writer or its licensors. Users may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, reproduce, scrape, clone, or create a competing service from Classroom Writer’s software, design, or platform structure. You may use Classroom Writer only for the purposes allowed by your account, plan, or school agreement.

1.14 Admin and super-admin tools Classroom Writer may include admin and super-admin tools for managing users, subscriptions, schools, trials, training content, support information, access, contact details, and platform settings. Only authorised users may access admin tools. Admin users must use these tools responsibly and only for legitimate school, support, billing, or operational purposes.

1.15 Legal acceptance during signup Classroom Writer may record when a user accepts legal terms, privacy notices, data protection terms, or related policies. This may include the user account, date, time, version of the terms accepted, and technical information needed to keep an audit record.

1.16 Service availability We aim to keep Classroom Writer available and reliable. However, we cannot guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, security work, technical issues, hosting problems, payment provider issues, or events outside our control.

1.17 Changes to the platform Classroom Writer may add, change, improve, suspend, or remove features. We aim to avoid changes that unfairly affect paid users during an active subscription period, but some changes may be needed for security, legal, operational, or technical reasons.

1.18 Prohibited use You must not use Classroom Writer to: • break the law; • upload harmful, abusive, discriminatory, violent, sexual, exploitative, or illegal content; • upload malware, viruses, or malicious code; • attempt to bypass security controls; • access another user’s account or data without permission; • scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the platform; • overload or disrupt the service; • impersonate another person or organisation; • misuse student data; • share worksheet links publicly when they are intended for a closed class; • upload content you do not have permission to use; • use the platform for surveillance, profiling, or non-educational monitoring of students; • use the service in a way that could harm children, students, teachers, schools, or Classroom Writer.

1.19 Suspension or termination We may suspend or terminate access if we believe: • these terms have been breached; • the platform is being misused; • there is a security risk; • payment has not been made; • the account is being used unlawfully; • continued access may cause harm to users, students, schools, or the platform. Where reasonable, we will try to give notice. However, urgent action may be taken without notice if needed for security, safeguarding, legal, or operational reasons.

1.20 Limitation of liability Classroom Writer is provided as a teaching and learning support tool. It does not replace teacher judgement, school policy, safeguarding processes, assessment moderation, legal advice, or professional decision-making. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Classroom Writer is not liable for: • loss of profits, revenue, or business; • loss of data where the user or school failed to export or back up content; • misuse of shared links or tokens; • user-uploaded content; • third-party resources or external links; • school decisions based on worksheet responses; • assessment outcomes; • indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

1.21 Governing law The governing law and jurisdiction should be confirmed by legal review. Suggested wording to review: These terms are governed by the laws of [insert country].
